Asba application for joint holders

In the ASBA application there is space only for First/ Sole applicant. Does it mean that second holder need not sign? The technical grounds for rejection mentions one reason is that if the ASBA application is not signed by all the holders.

all bank account holders need to sign the ASBA form unless POA is issued in the favour of a holder.

If more than 2 a/c holders than better to use net banking for IPO application
(if ones bank provides the facility).
