Are foreigners allowed to trade in Indian market?

Hello guys,

I am from South Korea. Today I chatted with an representative of Sharekhan.com and she wrote that Sharekan provide trading only for
Indian resident and NRI.

As a foreigner, how can I trade index futures like Nifty?

Dear friend,

You cannot trade in Indian market with out having registered as an FII, if you are an induvidual having limitted funds then you cannot register as an FII.
