Re: full time traders help me

Hi dude

My name is Manish Dhawan. I run a 3 million fund by the name of MYSTICS.

I am going to be very rude here, take it personally. You are exactly 'the kind of people' who give speculation the bad name!!!!.
Thank you for being rude and the straight fwd answer !

ask your roadside kiryana store how much investment did he start with. or in your case, worse still ask your local paan shop. even they start with a base of 10-20 lakh Rs to earn a ROI of around 4-5% per month (that is if they are lucky with amazing footfall and rapport)
I have lost 7 lacs indirectly(friends traded for me) in the mkt not more than 15 months ago..
Now I cannot afford that kind of investment..

I can wait for my friends to repay and in the mean time learn trading, but no idea if or when friends will repay me or how long it will take me to learn trading.

I was looking for job from jun-12 and stopped searching from Sep-13 (I dont like/want to explain why I didnt get job)

My well wishers are helping me till now and they will be ready to help further till I find a job or start earning somehow. But its already embarrassing enough, I want this to stop.

I want to get back up and I need all the members of this forums help I can get..(they can be rude, they can help me start trading, they can give me links to books or topics I can read, they can share their experience, they can share their strategy e.t.c all related to trading)

step 2. Read Risk management article wriiten by Ed Seycota on his website.
in a nutshell you cannot risk more than 1% of your corpus on 1 trade. ATR of Nifty ensures that your stop loss has to be 50 points away. 50*50= Rs. 2500

(backtested and optimized from last 3 years data on 12 min timeframe, I am not even talking about hourly charts)

to bear a loss of Rs 2500/ trade you need to have the capital of Rs 2.5 lakhs. so to trade 1 lot of nifty, you need 2.5 lakhs.

Now lets talk about returns. I don't know what strata of society you come from, but I presume you need around 25k/month that your average paan shop owner earns.

you need 500 nifty points in your kitty to earn that amount with 1 lot trading. IMPOSSIBLE.
My broker gives 5 times exposure and tells me that I can trade 2 lots nifty futures with 20k at my own risk (he tells is not good idea, but he is telling what is allowed) And I know the risk involved believe me, but I'm simply stating wht is available for me.

So if seniors help me in the right direction I can use small investment and start winning trades and less loosing trades.. I know I'm greedy and inexperience on my part...

Hope this helps. My friend Stock market is like any other profession, treat it like a casino and you will get the same results.

why didn't you think of becoming a doctor, a lawyer, a journalist by reading a couple of books. coz it takes more than a couple of lousy books. it takes 3-5 years of toil, hard work and commitment before you start earning.

STOP insulting this full time profession and try and figure out and experience the hidden feelings of insecurity, get rich quick hog that you have based on some psychological disease.

Like Ed Seycota says, your un experienced deep rooted childhood feelings are your real trading system.

and you will find ways to create HUGE loss making dramas to manifest and experience those feelings.

Manish Dhawan
Im sorry for insulting or if you/ or many others alike feel insulted, I know what I'm asking here might look like a shortcut to success and I know not exists..

And to be honest the more and more I type in this forum I feel guilty as charged..

Whats your age, previous income and skills? Do you have any liabilities? Are your family member insured? Have you actually exhausted all employment chances?

Please answer these so I may suggest a viable and practical solution.

Re: full time traders help me

I want to be full time trader.

Full time traders can you guide me

Is my decision to become full time trader good idea !

Very very low capital (10k to 20k) and stop loss of 2k to 3k only possible for me now.

What are the possibilities to make winning trades to and save capital first. Then build small profits.

Should I start with day trading in futures

Well....buddy you are a braveheart...EMI and trading do not go hand in hand...ask the guy who gave you the loan...he would not at that time had you been a trader...

EMI is the priority...you like it or not you need to join a 4 Hr type BPO job in US shift to cover some kind of living costs

Again 20k,, the only hurdle here is first part of every traders story is loosing money...95% do..hey but you could be from the 5% who made money all the way...I saw you lost money through friends but that does not help you need to stare at the screen and see your SL get hit..emotions can only be overcome by practice, but not with this kind of capital.

My suggestion is go to the below link
http://www.nseindia.com/NP/nse_paathshaala.htm

They provide 1 Lac to trade try your luck with ATM options and see what you can get in a month. It will be easier to decide this way. I understand nobody agrees to paper trading as a proxy to real life trading but it is apt for your situation.

Best of luck buddy...
