This calculator is password protected & hence unable to enter new values.
Some clarification pl:
Open value- Is it to days after the mkt or eod.
Presume Volatalities r as per EOD.
But,calculator does not have provision for Ten days average:confused:
So,how is related to Rish's posting.

As per ajeetsingh, the range for NF for today 4/4

R - 5707/5719/5738

S - 5669/5657/5638

They worked Very nicely for Trading:clapping:

I also calculated for Adanient & Wipro,cash & both worked very well.:thumb:

Is it possible to construct a Xl which when entered Closing price & Volatility, other parameters would be shown.
I am Not good at it.

This sheet is based on volatility breakout system, it calculates daily volatility based on CP of last 10 days, on the basis of this data it calculates buy or sell levels which have near to 70% accuracy. targets are also based on volatility only.

ajeetsing,

i am also able to alter the values.

Small clarification solicited.

There is a Buy/Sell signals value & Mid point values.
Both vary.
Which one to follow.

In yr experience, is 10day volatality range is more dependable as compared to daily.

Would u also suggest reversing the trades nearer to 62%(Tgt 2)

See, if for long time, buy/sell levels are not breached then it shows that stock is trading in narrow range so at that time we may consider mid values otherwise in trending market, use of mid points is suicidal as you can see that mid values are always near to open price. therefore if you are trading mid value then actually you are trading opening price.
10 volatility range is far more better than 1 year volatility
We are never concerned how the stock is behaving for whole year rather we are concerned how the stock is behaving currently.
normally LT has volatility has 2.0 according to NSE website but in past there are days when 10 day volatility rose to 3.5 and you can mint lot of money using this data as daily fluctuation will be higher so 3mins chart will give beautiful picture in such days.
