I see a situation has developed in Gold (daily chart) where there could be both - a valid long and/or a short position (use your own discretion):

​

1) Long Setup:

Entry: current price level
Stop Loss: US$1607/1606

2) Short Setup:
Entry: current price level
Stop Loss: US$ 1641/1642

Gold is trading on 50dma and its not sensible to play short it here as ydays Soro biggest bull of Gold bought good quantity and news that central banks china Russia and now Iran are on buying spree so use ur Brain instead of charts as ydays statement is of an analyst is give it time, and it can reach the sky

would like to go long with 1655-60 tgt here

I agree with you - but partially. Yes, of course Gold is strongest under the present economic environment (read last 9 years). Central Banks worldwide are in buying frenzy of physical bullion.

we need to understand the difference between Speculation and Hedging.

what I'm doing here is speculating (or trading). For hedge, I buy the actual physical metal (coins & bars).
