AFL Code to change Timing in Analysis

Hey Anant

I was going through your page...stocks to keep eye on...

latest update is

BOMDYEING SELL 390.50 477.60 348.10
HDIL SELL 344.70 439.75 288.25
PATELENG SELL 457.15 524.80 417.80
PATNI SELL 460.00 580.05 415.55
RIIL SELL 952.55 1096.10 951.10
SKUMARSUNF SELL 42.40 50.20 40.60

Its giving target on higher side...but recommendation is SELL... so how to trade? shouldn't it be BUY? *searched thread* but didnt get much info on how to follow it.

Hi Vicky,

These were Buy triggers given earlier. The Buy date is also given in the post. The stocks listed for Sell have generated a Sell signal now before hitting their targets. The targets given are the values calculated on the day when the triggers were generated. If any stock which gave a Buy trigger and later hits Stop Loss or a Sell trigger is generated, then Exit. This is quite common, as you know, that the target may not be reached every time.

hello anant

everything is working fine, except... i get many e-mails during live market hours. i.e i have only set alerts for nifty
i get about 200-300 e-mail alerts when buy/sell is generated.
I am using 15 mins live RT chart for nifty. It could be that when the candle is formed a buy/sell is generated and it keeps sending alert (e-mail) ?
how do i solve this? thanks

i have same problem but whit others time frames, how can i do automatic analysis in weekly and montly time frames ??? because i make only daily analysis even if i click weekly and montly chats

Hi Vicky,

Are you getting all of the the 200-300 mails for NIFTY only? Or other tickers also?

Whether all alerts are for same time?

what is periodicity?

run every --min --what is your time in this?

If all alerts are for same time, omit last ,1+2 in afl line as ami user's guide says all numbers for this last flag options are on by default.

I tried offline and repeated emails do not come.
