Although I have been into stock trading for well over 3 decades I consider myself a novice since my operations are experimental. I trade in the cash market as also in derivatives. Although I am told by many that options trading is easier and more profitable, the few occasions I have tried them have proved disastrous. Also, recently I found that the brokerage structure for options is not investor-friendly inasmuch as there is no ceiling on the amount of brokerage. In certain cases the brokerage amount exceeds the value of the contract itself. I expect to learn a little bit on these matters by joining this forum. Thank you for welcoming me into it.
