I have attached 2 monitors to my one CPU and now want to connect 1 or 2 more.

Making it 1 CPU : 3 monitors
OR
1 CPU : 4 Monitors.

I have attached the complete configuration of my CPU system. Please help how do I work it around.

Graphics Card I have installed is:
NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS
Memory: 1024 MB

Found following on net ..not tried with 4 ...

You need a pair of video cards, run independently (not SLI or Crossfired).
Each card can run two monitors.

Thanks,
I have all lost technical touch and small mistake from our side should not cost you dearly.I had done simple dual monitor setup long back with GEForce on Intel 865GSA motherboard.

I would suggest you to upload the same image file on Asus site given below.And inform them about your query.Or better visit Asus (Motherboard company service center in your city)

http://vip.asus.com/eservice/techserv.aspx

Using second graphics card is a trickier part.

Some more details before you buy anything more.(Read it carefully)

Once you get detailled reply please let us know so that in case if any other person tries same on Asus board it might be useful for them.

hi john ,

following would b config acc to me ,i hope it will suit you,

you need to connect 4 monitors to 1 CPU

lets take up total output port in your motherboard and Graphics card

motherboard:
1=VGA
1=HDMI
1=DVI (if present)
graphics card:
1=HDMI

so simply with these output ports you can easily connect 3 monitors without any hassle , also if you have only one HDMI port then buy "HDMI slitter"
it splits signal from 1 HDMI to 3or4 ports , check the hardware in ebay .
