sensex weekly close..19163

a roller coaster ride 2day.....
smartest of the stoplosse by cleverest of traders were seen TRGGERING 2DAY...such was the confusion on the street......it looks that a tug of war between the bulls & bears was fiercely on .....till sensex does not close abv 20400....bulls will die of starvation .. especially the f&o ones.......

the S&P index is giving just paltry 2% return as v near 2 close on nimble foot on a yearly basis overseas.....
small cap index felt the tremor 2day also giving a marked NEGATIVE breadth.....mirroring the confusion & fear among penny stock holders....

a further fall if....nxt week takes place....then f&o bulls r in for big trouble as margin calls will start trickling in.
2day was the 7th session of this intermediate downtrend...
even on monthly basis....nov was negative....while dec seems 2 b till date..
2 sum up....20400...very far from here needs to b closed in by bulls ...
till then ...remain fence sitter.....
MONEY IS ALSO MADE BY SITTING IDLE .....

DOW 20PTS UP.....trading below 200dma....!
no great deal.....v have to sleep tonight.....but wat will happen on monday , tue....????
no use of anxiety here.....sleep well till sensex closes abv 20400...
enter only on a close abv 20400.

.mkts take care of themselves.....dont worry for them as 2 wher will they head nxt & break someones head...only worry if u r sitting in a goods train .

NAV dressing is also in full fledge....the fiis hammer the index with the help of index based scrips to generate high NAVs for their midcap schemes .
simple...index down....midcaps calm....the result....my NAV generated higher returns than what the sensex or nifty gave......!!!!
result....more ques for the scheme.....!!!!



Sensex ends up 71pts; IFCI drops 23% .......

The Sensex opened with a positive gap 118 points at 19,210. The index moved in a range of 190 points today with a high of 19,291 and a low of 19,098. The Sensex finally ended with a gain of 71 points at 19,163.

With the market closed tomorrow, the index declined 868 points (4.3%) during the holiday-shortened week.

While the smallcap index slipped 102 points to 11,813, the midcap index declined 55 points to 9026.

The IT index soared over 3% to 4321. The FMCG index was down over 1% at 2198.

The market breadth was negative - out of 2,950 stocks traded, 1,755 declined, 1,164 advanced and 31 were unchanged today.............

Dow gains over 200pts, HDFC Bank up 5% ...............
while indian traders & invstrs were in deep & sweet slumber sleep last night....the dow people toiled hard to climb the wall of worries which was surrounding the the world...& they did it fantastickly....what abt us...???
v have a wall of worries placed @ 20400 which has 2 b climbed here ...

Both the Wall Street indices rallied sharply on Friday after the government's report that personal spending rose by a larger-than-expected 1.1% in November - the biggest increase in more than two years.

While the Dow gained more than 200 points (1.6%) to close at 13,451, the Nasdaq Composite added over 50 points (1.95%) to end the week at 2,692.

Indian ADRs, too, logged sharp gains on Friday. HDFC Bank gained over 5% to $129.49. Wipro was up over 3% at $15.05. Infosys, Satyam, ICICI Bank and Genpact also closed with gains ...............

Is it the right time to short scripts, as all banks, midcap scripts has shown bear trends in my metastock, though asian market has sharpely reversed back on positive closing. Even dow and nasdaq are 1.7 % up Friday.Is it bear trends showing in Indian market. Lets exchange views guys ! Remark your message. Does anybody track eod of dow and Hengseng ? Lets discuss.

V HAVE BEEN REPEATING SEVERAL TIMES ....bears...do not venture in adventerous shorts or u may loose ur fur....this is bulls field & bears r not welcome....yes their time will come...but not now......

bulls....the intermediate trend is down from 20376 close....now unless sensex closes abv 20400...treat this uptrend as a pullback rally......

24th Dec..sensex 19854..bulls Enter 25% With A Stop Of..

bulls...a sharp rally aided by overseas mkts with a political punch locally saw good gains especially in I T sector.....
todays rally has negated our earlier views of an intermediate downtrend .., v assume that the earlier med term uptrend which started from 13989 of 21st aug is still in force.....
the last stoploss for bulls now stands deep @ 17450........yes 17450 on closing basis....
as this stoploss is wide from 2days close...v recommend a 25% entry only assuming that it may get triggered.....the loss wil b minimal looking 2 the profit from 14425 entry levels.....

TREND UP SINCE -- 13989 ON 21 AUG
LONG ENTRY@---- 14425 ON 24 AUG.
TREND REVERSAL-- CLOSE BELOW 17450.

SORRY....V DONT TRACK NIFTY....but sensex levels r equivalent 2 nifty levels...so a break below 17450 will also signal a sell for nifty as well...
