pre market

Hi Experts, i want to know one thing about premarket, and i trading with Sharekhan. Today i noticed that Infosys price went upto Rs.2700 in pre market, but in normal market hours it started as usual. My doubt is whether a Normal Investor can trade in Pre-Market hours?:confused:
