    Bhai as per recent sebi circular, you need to have var margin to sell the shares. So, if you have shares in your demat ac and you wish to sell them, guess what, you need to have cash balance equal to var margin. Other members may add too.

    Sir but if you allow option trading in normal on expiry day and client do not close the position in normal. it will automatically get converted and require full delivery margin. The risk is too high. am i missing something ?

    NOW is having so much trouble these days. Every now and then, either margin is not correctly updated or it hangs. NSE NOW should get it updated else it's better to stay away from NOW.

    I have used NEST and find is really good. Not too fancy but execution wise does a good job. They have multiple version and the latest one is on their site. Maybe, you can take a demo before deciding.
