Is anyone here using BlitzTrader Software/Platform?
It has been developed by QuantXpress, but I think Symphony is handling its marketing and support.
A brief review would be very helpful.
Also I had few queries regarding it.
Received info from GDFL regarding API.
Price Quote is for Level 1 data of NSE FNO segment only.
1. Rs. 100,000 annual API charge.
2. Rs. 50,000 per month for data.
PS: Per month is not a typo......:thumb:
True. Level 1 data usually comprises 15 to 20K ticks in Nifty F1.
But its not all ticks. It contains many clubbed ticks, especially during high volume times of the day. Also you can see the obvious discordance between the last traded qty and volume jumps. They don't match.
Its not question of necessity, it question of level playing field. Why should NSE give an edge to big institutions by there unfair pricing models. Should an average investor pay them 1 crore per annum for genuine data? Instead of spending money on giving those nonsense animated advertisements on...
Hmmmm, but it might not be easy to organize such big group buy.
Otherwise, 10-12K per month seems pretty fair for TBT feed.
Another option would be to get one of the data providers to upgrade there feed.
For e.g. GDFL paying 20 lacs for Level 1 of FNO, they can upgrade it to Level 3 for 10 lacs...
IQ feed not yet providing NSE data. I confirmed today.
Symphony providing TBT i suppose but only for Internal consumption for algos hosted in there local LAN.
Will try to see if anything possible from there.
Omneysys / Symphony Also providing TBT feed but only for internal consumption on local LAN. Don't know whether we can create a connection from there to receive data over internet. Also loads of technicalities for algo trading permission (exam, approval, etc):(
Yup, considering these.
NEST API: Cheapest option but most fussy. Symbol limitations. Terminal Hanging issues. C++ RTD client that I mentioned will be this method. No backfill of tick data however. Can get data of CM/FNO/MCX
GDFL: Only Level 1 data, total cost exceeding that of esignal. No...
Level 3 and Tick By Tick, I am yet to see any one datavendor.
All are level1 including Esignal. so no use.
True. GDFL is giving Level 1 API. Even some international are giving Level 1 only (Realtick).
Terminal has level 2 data , no tick by Tick Zerodha Pi may open their data API in...
Any idea about market data feed via API? Ideally Level 3 data.
Here is a seperate thread that I opened.
Does anyone know of any providers that provide realtime market data for NSE FNO/CM via an API (Application Programming Interface).
Data feed should preferrable be Level 3 or Tick-by-Tick (by NSE classification).
Would prefer a local(Indian) provider. International data providers seem very...
1.Don't chase targets pal, especially not in the beginning. Your focus should be on learning and preserving capital rather than making 3% or whatever.
2. Start in NSE cash, not in FNO.
2.First trade intraday, ideally open trade after 12 and close before 2.30-3.00.
Then when you are profitable...
Few important things:
1. With 50K, and trading one lot --> you will be taking leverage of 5x to 8x. NOT a very wise idea.
2. Scalping is relatively difficult forms of trading. Don't think routine technical analysis will be very effective. Mastering order flow and tape reading is better...
