Looked at Dmart for trading several times. One problem is it is delivery based. Second the charts do not suggest that it is tradeable intra-day. For swing trades, it is a good stock.

It cannot be traded in intraday...it is in Trade To Trade segment.

That share may join my shorting list after the rights issue closes. But I do not come to a conclusion. I will only look at charts in the higher time frame for confirmation. But, I may look at it periodically.

Suppose I place a buy MIS order myself (without calling dealing desk), and it remains unexecuted and it gets cancelled by RMS at 3:25pm, then will I be charged Rs 50+GST?

no it should not charge ...it is only for position square off
