Rules on the top of a thread posted like a sticky note on every page

Dear Moderators

I think we should have a sticky note on the top of the thread on every page ,where the general information is shared like

General rules for posting in the thread
Commonly used AFL locations
Commonly used Excel sheet locations
Commonly discussed trading rules,etc ,etc

This should be editable anytime to the thread owner.
Can be a good thing for new persons who enter the thread and start asking about the rules which are discussed in the earlier parts of the thread some hundreds of pages back.

How about a simpler or rather easier to implement solution : making the first Post of a thread : Editable all the time ! The thread owner can do the needful as and when required!
No two opinions that a sticky note would be much much more helpful!

Hmm, sticky note would be better!! How does editing first post help in what is desired here!?

Yes, fully agree that a Sticky Note on each page would be The Best !

My contention was as per my limited Software knowledge that making the first post in each thread "editable" would be very very easy to implement than the 'sticky note thing!

Obviously the first post is always by the thread owner and he can perpetually add or delete the links to the important posts like trading rules, afl or excel sheet posts within the thread in the first post itself!
