It has become a regular feature to get this message on clicking on a Thanks Button in a Post :

rh6996, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
This happens 8 out of 10 times!!! Is there some setting I need to do at my end, if not it needs to be rectified asap!! Thanks!!

It will automatically be activated as and when prescribed time and messages are fulfilled. :thumb:
Thanks!
Can you kindly elaborate!! Are there some parameters to be fulfilled, if yes, where to look for them?
One Post I am able to Thank and then the very next am unable to!!

pls have patience it will automatically come. I think after completion of around 8-10 posts (not sure).
in the mean time, if u want to thank specifically to someone , u can always do it by replying the thread. :)

That defeats the very purpose of the Thanks Button!! I am told that there was a time when Thanks button wasnt there and members thanked each other by Posting a reply!! Thanks button was introduced to minimise these one word replies of "Thanks"!! This problem wasnt there till a few months back, it is a recent issue!!! A few other members also face similar problem!!

[There are some topics where the Thanks button has been removed: Announcements, Introductions, General Chit Chat & this one, for example.

Is your observation topic specific?]

Sorry, misread: you mention that it occurs when you click the button. The thanks is handled by this javascript:

http://www.traderji.com/clientscript/post_thanks.js

So either your javascript is not loading right (clear browser cache), or YAHOO.util.Connect.asyncRequest has an issue (for you mostly, since it seems to be working for others).
