The purpose is not served if you keep pm disabled

I have a sincere suggestion. Like Traderji, I am a member of lot of other reputed forums and every other forums allow us to interact with other members through PM.As you are aware every bit of piece and parcel cannot be discussed through threads.

Also I heard that the PM is enabled based on reputation. Is there any criteria for deciding reputation? I have been member here since 1 1/2 years.Do not understand what is that reputation!!!.

I do not think the basic intention of creating this forum itself is served with such ban on basic essential things.

I second Raghav's concern. I myself am a member of various other forums across internet. And TJ is the ONLY site with PM disabled. As a result we see a lot of promotion,advertising happening on threads. The reputation is surely going down in terms of quality material available to read and you bump into so much of spam and advertising.

Raghav, why dont you add a Poll to this thread. Lets see what other members have to say.
May be this will help Traderji to take some feedback and decision.

Yes PM should be enabled as it is standard procedure.
Capacity to send PMs should be based on Experience or Reputation system.

Only problem is Seniors / Moderators will be flooded with PMs by newbies wanting to ask Qs personally ...

For instance Savant's, AW10, Smart_Trade etcs inbox would be full at all times. Also genuine PMs would get buried.

Other than that, I want PM enabled too .. makes it easy to interact ...
