"Nothing and no one can predict the future movements of the
markets." If anyone tells you otherwise then they are trying to mislead you. A lot of people using technical analysis often think that it is a substitute for crystal ball gazing. Some traders go to great efforts seeking the Holy Grail of indicators in order to outwit the markets: - I'm sorry to say there are none! However at best we can only talk in terms of probabilities and not absolutes. What we are looking for is a way of giving us a market edge so that the balance of probability is in our favor whether or not we are trading in unfavorable market conditions. This does not mean that we need to be concerned about exactly what trades will be profitable and what ones won't be. As long as the losses are constrained with good money management strategies what we can be assured of is that in the long run we can be trading with a robust trading system. This type of system can be used across a broad market and will survive during periods of adverse movements in the market. |

Most novices and beginners think that technical analysis if the TOOL for grazing into the future!
Eventually they realize that it is not so after losing an awful lot of money on trading and buying forecasting technical analysis packages like advanced get, etc. |

In my opinion if U wish to remain in the market place long enough, one needs to develop ones own intuition. Most people out there are kiddos advising about the market. This is not to say that all of them are bad. There may be smarties out there..
Why are people in such a tearing hurry to make a killing. My advice............ 1. Start in a small way to invest with Ur own fundas. 2. Do this for 2 - 3 years. This will build up your control on your senses. Keep correcting yourself at every fall. Think like a baby taking the first faltering steps. Get over the fear of loosing money..... 3. Once U hv crossed the previous phase, U know if U are cut out for this trade or not. 4. If yes increase Ur exposure slowly for another 2 years. and so on............. I am in my 7th year and with abt 10L presently in the market, gives me sometimes sleepless nights. But I feel it was worth the wait. I started with just 1.5L. Am a beginner stillllllllllllllll............... |
