Seriously, a private group has meaning where one member starts it and offers invites to others who he thinks fit. Of course other members can apply for invitation/joining. Then you can have interest oriented group for serious members not defined by words like Mod, elite, golden etc. oh and what brilliant idea. get together and sell a low volume stock, with members 2000 miles apart. you will be playing poker.

Private groups is pretty cool. Even t2w has private groups where the membership is moderated by a single person starting the group.
Would be nice to have it here.
