hi
its is not possible dada because i find ,,specailly u only do this to be truly speaking i myself trade also in the stocks which i specify for teh next day as on eod,,but not all say 2 out of 5,, but sure i do ,,and if by chance i get stuck i get the delivery.
but posting teh whole of trade book is not possible becuase it may also reveal what actually one earns...or how he trades..all that concept many dont like to disclose
if i trade in 2 accounts simultaneously , not possible daily to post bith teh trade files,,, daily

itn atime nahin hota hai daily
think!!!

Why moderate at all!!! People here are all mature and responsible for there own actions.
The people who burn their fingers here would in any case burn them. They are after FREE calls, if they dont get it here they may, rather they will, look elsewhere and go for the calls without checking the veracity or any reasoning behind the trade.
How many people heed the warning on Cigarettes or other tobacco products.
Many many people still consume alcohol in Gujrat inspite of it being banned there.
Best is to segregate them, the tipsters in a separate section so they do not disturb the rest of the working of the forum.
My 2 cents worth!!!! for whatever it is worth.
Regards.

No sir. my feeling is that it wont work. I see your post in technical section and in my reply just say well done oxusmorouz, it will be counted as a 'post' by me, and after N such posts I'll be eligible to offer my 'tips'.
Moreover, oxusmorouz, some tips are news based too, we either disallow such tips though some may be authetic too !!!
I think we all would agree with Traderji's comment "But coming to the title of this thread - "Regulating Tipsters" - it does not seem an easy possibility.

"Regulating Tipsters" - it does not seem an easy possibility.

i have one question for traderji.
if some member is a subscriber to a newsletter ex. tradersedgeindia.com or rajatkbose.com etc. and he post his experience of using that newsletter service, what he likes or dislikes about that service, his own personal record showing exactly how many profit targets were achieved in the last month and in how many cases the stop loss was hit. based on the recommendations given in that newsletter.

are these kind of posts allowed by traderji rules ? or such post will be banned?

please clarify

thanks

A separate section for "Tips" is necessary now, consideriing the number of people posting them. Looks like most of the tips are from regular members, though quite a few posts are from tipsters trying to drag in new clients.

This is a more dangerous aspect of the tips as the tipster may or may not be competent to do so and noobs following him could lose their money.
I doubt anyone would reveal their analysis of the tip so educational value is nil.

A possible solution is to cancel PM rights to regular tipsters and then see if they still tip. At least we will know their intentions.

If traderji puts his foot down everything is possible. There are at least 4 people posting under multiple names and all of them are fishing for clients.
Traderji probably knows already, which people have multiple nicks and who is here for what.

In light of our policy of encouraging candid, open exchanges of views and the rapid distribution of information originating from many sources, we cannot determine the accuracy of information that may be uploaded to the forum. Opinions, advice and all other information expressed by participants in discussions are those of the author. You rely on such information at your own risk. You are urged to seek professional advice for specific, individual situations and not rely solely on advice or opinions given in the discussions.

This is our general content disclaimer at the bottom of every page. I think this forum provides a little of something for everybody. There may be some members looking for tips, some for technical trading strategies, some for fundamental data, etc. Everybody who comes to this forum is either looking for a solution or information. Some may wish to share their info/knowledge with others. So I personally do not believe in moderating a certain section of people giving tips to others. I appreciate your concern and agree they may be doing so to "fish for clients" but I am sure all the forum members are smart enough to decide for themselves what works and what does not.

As members of this forum you can directly regulate the quality of posts by members here by using the User Reputation System. This I believe is a powerful tool for controlling the quality of posts in this forum. How often have you all used this???

So in the end, let us all get down to the business of discussing, interacting and sharing our views here.

Happy 17K!
