Not a bad idea. It would be like the most actively traded shares. There should also be top gainers and top losers so one knows where one stands. Considering the subject and the time span, it should have been a much more vibrant forum

In my view, in the introduction guideline, you can direct all rookies to all the posts that you have made about the basics and introduce them to people who by popular opinion make the most popular posts in addition to apprising about the basics. How is a beginner to know who these people are? It is upto him then to choose what he likes. Since you seem to be associated with www.tradersedge.com website which is good in both style and substance compared to other Indian websites, maybe that association can also be invoked to prevail upon him the exposure he shall get.
Top posters can be a little deceptive. Top posts should also be considered if poeple have made very few but very good posts. For advanced traders, maybe links who would like to have “Intellectual Intercourse” with other existing advanced traders, they can perhaps be guided to posts where there has been a good debate. New members who exhibit good knowledge should be promoted straightaway so there is no divergence between rank and knowledge and unnecessary confusion among other new beginners and existing members Many posts go unanswered. I think knowledgeable people should take up the challenge. Charting or other games be introduced If this forum has to be a long term winner If participation has to be thicker instead of thinner Whether a rookie or advanced trader, whoever in this forum is a beginner The USP*s of the forum have to be highlighted in such a manner That he should feel as glad of joining it as if being treated to free dinner If he chooses to abstain temporarily or permanently, he should feel as guilty as a sinner.
