Hi all good people on this forum...(Please Help me)

I am a new person to trading...and I lost a sum of Rs. 80,000 in just few days.
Earlier I lost around 6,000 but in attempt to recover my money from the market. I lost around 80,000 now. (I was, and I am short on Nifty Future...currently shorted at 3000 level...and the thing is that now I am really depressed and because I have just ruined my hard earned money in Stock Market.....(really I m depressed...), and I want to recover my money back from the stock market...Now I am thinking to learn all the technical analysis so that I could get my money back....
Please help me by providing you advice and valuable inputs.

1) Please tell me a good software free of cost (Futures, especially for Nifty futures)??
2) The software should be free of cost with the facility of historical data and end of day update.
3) I have already arranged some good books to learn the basics of Technical analysis.
4) Your help is really appreciated to get me out of this crisis.
5) if anyone can tell me do? I will be able to get my money back..
Warm Regards
Thank u all great guys on this forum

Well , you have just experienced what 95 % of the traders in the market go through . The only difference is that the amount is different in every case.
These books on Technical Analysis will provide you a basic framework which will not make much sense in the initial stages.
The key points you need to remember here is that STOP TRADING FOR A WHILE AND OBSERVE MARKET MOVEMENTS along with learning TA. This will take you a couple of months.
Once that is done make sure you have a system in place (a strategy)
1) Entry Point
2) Profit Booking Poiny
3) Stop Loss
After that you should be able to recover the initial capital which was invested and make profits after the Break Even Point has been achieved. This will only materialize when you stick to your strategy. Trust me on this , stop loss is the most important out of the three which i just mentioned earlier.

Cheers

You really need to spend alot more time researching the stock you want to buy. Don't
take someone else's word, you must do the research your self. As already suggested, Stop Loss Orders are essential to minimize losses. Finally, develop a trading system and stick to
it not matter what - "emotions trading" is a sure way to lose your shirt!

Have you covered your short or still holding it. Short at 3000 & watching money fly out your bank for so long is bad judgement by any case. Please cover soon & think of a clear strategy which suits your psycholgy & risk levels.

A small peice of advice, never risk more than 2% of your capital on any trade. Be it futures or cash. Trade small positions in cash, get expertise & then venture into futures.

Read 'Trading for a living' of Dr. Alexander Elder.

Take a break boss... Else it will be eating your mind everyday in your work. Relax and come back once the market settles down
