![]() Or may be just for those who gets bored by making continouous profits (in their mind ofcourse) & makes continuous losses in reallity. Getting serious, I think the sixth stage really don't exists. Neither Buffet no soros is on that stage. It's illusion like grail. If somebody thinks is at stage six it's the start of his return journey. & If somebody thinks he is on five & work hard to remain there, he touches the sixth stage virtually. Regards Omkar |

I think the trading strategies in a traders career keep vacillating between the excellent to the mediocre with no consistency. Market is a great leveller,it humbles the mighty and showers lavish gains unexpectedly. An expert trader may trade like a clueless trader on a bad day and a clueless trader may get a windfall of fortune. I think one should be consistent in the approach to market just like a sportsperson playing his favourite game and enjoy every moment of the game.

I haven't start loosing money yet, does that mean, I am at stage 1. I play very pessimistic, and take my money, when it earns 10% gain, Though in process, I loss as my investment would have gained me 20-30%, I haven't lost it from my pocket. Its "Loss in Profit" type
I was basically a FD investor earlier, So as long as i earn more than FD i am satisfied, so considering all things, I think I am at Level 1 Only. (its psychology to vote for Level 3, and hence most vote goes for level 3) |

I dont know if a trader will ever come to know which stage he is in. Sometimes i feel iam at stage 4 than market comes and slaps me, tells me that you are stage 3 student how come you are sitting with seniors in stage 4, i go to stage 3 and my wife remarks that i am wasting too much time for earning peanuts so i am demoted to stage 2 and then one day there is a sudden crash in all my stocks and i am demoted to stage 1. I become determined again, study my mistakes and slowly move to stage 4 again and start wondering whether i am in stage 4.75 and i become complacent and go back to stage 4 and the vicious circle that takes me to stage 1 starts again.
I think that for most of traders we move in certain level of stages with support and resistance stage most of the time. So i think we are missing the most important category that is RANGED STAGE TRADER and i think most of us come in this category. Confused, so am i, will read the post again and try to understand what i have explained |
