Today i took a long in crude at 3600 based on my OBV signal. It regained positive territory after many days. Up by more than 150 points owing to adds in a couple of hours.

Southpaw ji, whenever price touches and closes above 36EMA you add to your position. That way your SL is very small and manageable. This new SL becomes your SL for all the lots in hand.

What are the horizontal lines in price pane ? Supports. Yes perfect. But could have shorted at 464 also when the OBV came under the 200EMA line. But i guess you waited for confirmation in price breaking below support.

By Adding you are always mitigating risk. And by the 1st add or maximum the 2nd add you are always assured of some profit and if the trade really takes off you get a bounty by way of the compound effect. Your risk is always small and mangeable.

havea look at this chart.. obv clearly indicates a short.. how would you have trailed the sl in the case if we decide to c/f the shorts as a swing.
