I have had hundreds of encounters with these fraudsters through mobile. I receive atleast one call from them.

Recent call :

He : How is your trading sir....
Me : Badia chal raha rai....
He : Kithene lot ka hota hai sir....
Me : hundred lots....
He : Kitne sal ka experience hai sir....
Me : Bees sal...
He : Hame....ek chance do sir..... pehle paisa nahi dena....accuracy dekne ke bad dena....
Me : Loss Hua To...
He : Loss Nahi Hoga sir.... Ek Dam Accurate calls hai sir....
Me : To fir apna paisa lagake ..... trade karo.....aur Kamao
He : I am not trader..sir.....I just give advises....
Me : Oh...I cannot take advices from Non-traders.
He : Trading karne ka....paisa nahi hai sir...

then I offered him one scheme....

I told him that I would fund my trading account with Rs.9 lakhs and you bring your share of capital of Rs.1 lakh. I give you my trading ID and password and you keep trading it. If loss happens....you have to immediately make up for the losses. ie always your Rs.1 lakh should be made up immediately.
If you start making profits.....we will share 50:50 though my capital is high.

He : Your offer is excellent. But I donot have that much capital ...sir.
Me : Make the scheme for Rs.5 lakhs. I bring in 4.5 lakhs and you bring in Rs.50K.
He : I donot have even Rs.50K.
Me : I am giving one day time. If you agree for my scheme....call me within 24 hours.....otherwise never call me.

Its 3 days.....I never got call again from him.:D

PS :- One important lesson here. They are not enough capitalised even to test their own trading skills. But, they call themselves advisories. Its our foolishness to believe them and get deceived. They are parasites and their preys are struggling and inexperienced traders.

No more advisory services. Only profit sharing on capital sharing basis with risk fully capped. Let me see how many of them come up to join hands.

mobile numbers are from broker employees. the latest scam is to send a sms with tips and put a reputed website name to it.
Exactly. I'm sure that Zerodha employees pass on this info as I had taken a new SIM only for Zerodha trading. For 2 weeks the phone was unused for any activity till my zerodha account was opened. After the 1st few trades several of these so called Tipsters started calling up.. Maybe Zerodha should be more careful with their staff..

(Note; I dont use that phone for any other services)

Another probable culprits are NSE/BSE staff. Our cell number is forwarded by our broker to NSE/BSE. This is now a mandatory requirement for the brokers. NSE/BSE send SMSs to our mobile when we make a trade to alert us against any fraudulent transactions done by brokers without our knowledge.

So, either brokers or NSE/BSE staff are the culprits. There is no chance of leaking cell numbers other than these two. Infact, this menace has started when NSE/BSE has started sending SMSs. Before that this menace was not there.

Many of these companies seem to based in Indore for some reason. I have been repeatedly approached by a firm called TradeBizz India Research, again based in Indore. Has anyone had any dealings with this company?

You will see atleast one advisory in each home in Indore and Surat. It has become like a small scale industry for umemployed.

They all need is a cell phone, one computer and internet connection. They can hire computer on monthly rent basis. Additionally one web site with great payment options. Total investment is less than Rs.25000 with recurring expenses to the tune of Rs.1000. Even 3 clients for a month with Rs.10000 subscription fee is a great way of earning for them.

Is there some way of taking action against these companies. I was approached by a company. They were SEBI registered. Although they had the usual disclaimers on their website, their agent made the usual fake claims of 100% profit, spectacular gains and 100% money back on SMS and Whatsapp, none of which were fulfilled, of course. Can these form the basis of a complaint with SEBI? Many such companies also upload false performance sheets on their websites. Can the SEBI/Police take action against this?
