Hi,
its not vivek that confuses but on the contrary its Neely school , that confuses you . Therefore I follow vinay verma and to some extent caldaro.
vinay verma is doing nice simple elliott wave analysis therefore I like him.
Neely is for ever stuck up in this seven leg diametric and other useless complications therefore I donot like him for trding.

But tells you a bit that is nice
AND you get the rest only on personal advice.
I like his analysis (though don't profess to understand every bit of it). It seems to have a lot of subtleties that is perhaps not spotted by the more orthodox lot. Maybe i am a bit biased here because what he says often corresponds with my Fundamental readings.

BTW do you know of any book on EWT by Vivek Patil?

Regards,
Kalyan.

hi friends,

Let me tell you that elliot wave is not the holy grail that once it indicated certain wave is established , markets will go up or down.
That's why i said untill sensex holds certain level. Markets can anytime break the wave count and an elliot student without any ego has to re- arrange the wave count.

So, wave 4 is still in development. Lets see where it terminates and wave 5 begins.Wait untill such thing happens

thanxs

Hi Guys!

Several pages of discussions since I last visited. This is good.
The exchange of ideas always opens pathways to greater understanding.
The Sensex had a nice rally, but according to my work, the trend is still down. Often when volatility increases, it makes it easier for the market to move in the direction of the overall trend. Be careful!

Thank you Tony. I have seen when volatility increases its the top. I have based my trading on your count and on vinay's analysis and I have benefited a lot . Though I am learning the waves myself but am a student still. A lot of neely crap has entered in this thread which I even dont consider as elliott .
The most you can say it is neely analysis not elliott even remotely. You must have seen valleys without troughs and mountains with out tops in his analysis . Your views on this crap are most awaited.
