also a suggested method for placing trailing stop loss is certain percentage below previous bottom (decided by the individual by what works best for him/her or as regards whts the previous history of the stock concerned that is say it has a tendency to go below the previous bottom by 2% then u will be better off by placing the stop loss below 2% of previous bottom ) . but do what u may never move ur stop the stop loss down( for a long trade and move the s/l up for a short trade) and stick to ur system and keep refining it ( to be true i havent been able to do it with lots of success but then i can keep trying ).
