Default Bharti Air Tel Trade on 26th March - Freak trade ??

Dear Seniors
Hello,

If we see the Nifty Charts we see a DIP at 3 PM and on examination i found that main reason may be due to single trade of Bharti Air Tel. The rate of Bharti Air Tel at 3.00.30 PM tick was 779.60 with volume of 426. The Next trade is at 3.00.40 @ 709 with a volume of 38886.
Is this also a case like ACC trade a few days ago or is there manipulation - intention to tank nifty
Next trade is again @ 769.
so total cost of this is approx 24 Lakh

There is another trade that was responsile for the DIP
Wipro was also sold at 40 RS less
3.00.15 ------ 595.75 27 shares
3.00.25 ------ 554.00 32484 Shares
3.00.30 ------ 591.00 7360 Shares
Adverse cost of this trade is Rs. 12 Lakh Approx

Another Trade
ONGC
3.00.20 858.20 Volume 12
3.00.30 840.00 Volume 55205
3.00.35 850.00 Volume 6629

Mistake can not happen in 2 shares at the same time

What are the views on this trade - is some one to loose job again

Rajeev

Yes... it is Nifty manupulation.
Manupulation is not always BAD..provided you understand it. if on technical ground nifty want to touch some perticular level and has to bounce back.. then such Freak trades may occure...
Other part of it is ...Removing of SL..
Also such dip may come due to hit of someone SL and price suddenly dip if there is no Buy orders near.

Best Regards
Ramdas

Hello,

This sure as commented by many is to manipulate the Charts - manipulate the Index. Thre may be a chance to Gu for the stops but we must think what is the cost. As it appears the cost of manipulation yesterday is about 1 Crore my thinking is - whether this is worth so much. More so as now a days large no. of of people find out that this was due to manipulation is it still worth indulging in manipulation. Further is we see in past many days the volume is low and many retail investors must be waiting outside - sidelines due to chppy market why do people / operators indulge in such activities. More over since we can find the exact trades which were punched it can be surely found out wjho has done it. Does such actions qualify for punishment by SEBI
These are just wild thoughts
Regards
Rajeev

Regarding Cost. they know approximatly where SL are placed..and when they want to Buy 2,00,000 ..then they just sell 50,000 Shares Hit others SL and create supply and get those 2,00,000 at Much lower cost,
But there is always threat...Big fish can be eaten by More Bigger fish.
So it is not a very clean Game...Threat is always there.
So suggest other to use SL and play game on it, That is darty game.
