Default Nifty Head and Shoulders + Candle = power trade

hello all,

i just went through nifty 60 min charts from past 10 days and saw H&S pattern.

Wht was interesting abt this pattern was it was not just a pattern!!!
The break was accompanied with shotting star and the following black candle which confirmed the pattern.

Also the MACD had a -ve cross over when the H&S pattern was forming and also during the break. This added further confirmation to short.

Kindly see the charts.

Thanxs
winston

A fast and steep correction reminds me of the bull run being intact. Take any of the sugar stocks as an example - they didnt fall to these levels overnite that suggests a bear phase in them. But as for the indices, it is safe to assume that the bull run is still on. hope this helps

Other than the still high level of OI, the F&O cues don't look all that bad. Cash selling will get intensified though if margin calls start getting triggered. But the Adv/Decl is already at highly oversold levels. Wonder how much worse it can get.

Crude is down, dollar rising - good signs.

Hi!

IMHO, the pattern is not an H&S as the volume pattern is not matching the H&S pattern.

A rounding Top and an island reversal (Gaps on almost identical levels) are more suitable patterns.

Charts Attached for reference.
