My name is Karan Thukral, 30. i am looking to form a trade group of about 5-6 people in delhi.
a little background:
i have been deeply involved in trading forex(spot), gold futures, nifty for about 3 years.
in my experience, to be a successful trader a lot of discipline and patience is required. to be able to sit in front of a computer for hours patiently, waiting for your trade setup, in itself is quite a task.
it can be monotonous and even depressing at times.
And hence , chances are that one can make mistakes of over trading and put through a lot of stress.
over the years, i have lost some money , and then made some. i have been lucky enough not to blow an account or two, due to constantly making strategies and testing in demo account rather than real.
and now that i am in the next phase of trading full time with real money, i face challanges like boredom and lack of physical activity. it becomes monotonous after a while even though money is coming.
in my intention , i seek to form a group of people, having sound knowledge in the field of TA( sorry, no newbie) and some experience in trading, and dedicated enough to forgo their current jobs to make fulltime living as a day trader. or people already full time daytraders, and face similar problems like me.
The idea is that like minded people perform better in a group, rather than working alone. one can discuss new strategies, trades, psychology with the peers.
this group can even start a joint fund account, sort of like mini hedge fund, trade collectively. or start a tips providing company. The opportunities are endless.
this group would require a small office, with the members bearing the cost of rent/electricity.
but of course, if one is a successful trader, one really doesnt bother about petty costs, as compered to the income one can generate from trading.
