#1
Hi All,
I am a new Investor & like many others I have started trading recently. I would like to take up Technical Analysis course offered by BSE Institute for my own knowledge. Would like to know if it is recommended or can some one suggest any other resources.?

I don't know how it is, but if you are looking to learn TA, you can simply buy Ashwani Gujral's 'How to make money trading charts'. It costs around 550 - 600.

PS: Learning TA does not mean you will really make money using it.

For charting during the learning period, you can use www.icharts.in/charts.html

You can also learn TA from the web, brosing this forum, but I would not advise learning in a haphazard way in bits and pieces. If you don't want ashwani gujral book, learn from any other book, but keep your learning organized.

He is asking about technicals. not fundamental analysis.

Good for BSE, they make a good amount of money. The contents are for beginners. I would be glad if they make their fundamental analysis book more worthwhile. At least a full case study.

Hi ashish, don't pay unnecessary charges to bse. you have a wealth of info reg. technical and fundamental analysis in the virtual world (internet). i also started like you and got so much info reg.technical analysis from many websites. you can see sites like stock charts.com which provide loads of info. the main ingredient, however, is attitude. you can only develop it on your own by reading good books. i suggest w.d.gann's "the truth of the stock tape" to start with. this amazing book was published in early 20th century and it it still a bible for any body looking at the stock markets.
