Default Request to software programming members of Traderji

Hello friends,

I am having one request to software programming members of this forum. Can any one of you write a simple programme (offline calculator) to calculate various fibonacci retracement and extension levels? Can you upload it here in this forum for the benefit of all members of this forum?
Let me give some specifications of this proposed programme.
1. User has to enter the prices (i.e. swing high and swing low prices of the stock) in the particular boxes.
2. Then the user will have to either click "calculate" button or has to press "enter" key.
3. Then the calculator will calculate various fibonacci retracement/extension prices and all these prices will be displayed in appropriate boxes.

Thanks in advance and regards
R. S. Iyer

Dear members,
Here is one such programme, which I have found on net. It is a freeware. But it does not give all retracement/extention levels and retracement/extention levels are not adjusted to the decimals such as .618. Anyway have a look at this small freeware. Link is

http://www.freewarefiles.com/downloa...programid=8333

This will give a good idea as to how we have to improve this disign of calculator as stated in my previous post in this thread
Thanks and regard

I am not interested in sharewares or in paid softwares. I think designing this sort of calculators is very easy. We have good number of software programmers here. Hope they help me and other members of this forum in this. I hope this will not take too much effort or time on their part. A simple visual basic programme is more than sufficient. My handicap is that I have absolutely no knowledge with regard to software programming or software code writing.
Thanks and regards

hi RSI,
ok heres an app i developed in a jiffy.

very simple - just jot down the value in the two respective text boxes (you can put only numbers)

if you want the retracement put the low price in the upper text box and the high price in the lower text box.

for extentions its the reverse.

my apologies for the design do let me know whether it fits your bill. for any changes do ping me.

cheers,
jdm.

Dear jdm,
Thank you so much. You have done it so beautifully. Just as I imagined and just as I explained and just as I wanted. Thanks a lot.

Dear Raja,
Thank you very much. Risk Calculator V2 with tutorial was not in my mind. It is really a pleasent surprise or shall a say a bonus for me? Anyway, I deeply appriciate the effort taken by you to help me. I request you to have a look at the calculator posted by senior member jdm in this thread. I hope that will be useful to you also.

Thank you very much for guiding me and other members not only on risk calculator but also on other aspects.
With warm regards

This is the app I used 2 years ago when I started out trading. It has its merits.
As for me I already possess systems which show levels on the charts themselves.

Looks interesting. One of the main purposes for asking fibo calculator was that many of charts which I have seen were already cluttered with trendlines, moving averages, bands etc. If fibo retracement levels were added to the chart, then it looks still more conjested. Further, I had to struggle to read those numbers (I mean retracement values) on chart against the backdrop of candles, indicators etc. These retracement level numbers and lines were obscuring the important view of the chart (i.e. view of the chart at the right edge) As I said if I were to add two or more fib retracements on charts, the chart is still more crowded. To avoid all these I requested for an independent stand alone offline fibo calculator.
Thanks and regards
