Market Profile Book
Hi,
Nice site Traderji! I am an electronic futures trader based out of Sydney. I have direct access into the big 4 (CME, LIFFE, EUREX and CBOT). I use the Market Profile methodology quite a bit and I have been hunting for the following book: Steidlmayer’s Market Profile Workshop: A Hands-On Guide to the Methods of a Master Trader. J. Peter Steidlmayer. Wiley & Sons, 1992. Anyone trade the Nifty 50 futures on the NSE? Do you have direct access into the market? Any volume scalpers out there? Scalping the nifty is a tough job for a retail trader, due to the % based commissions here.
Typically 0.05% of the underlying value, per roundturn, is a competitive commission, so with the nifty at 2000 one needs to make 1+ point just to cover the commission. The spreads are also not as narrow as in the S&P futures.
