I was just thinking about plants and FNO traders... Look at what I have found.
We are trying to be a good plant! I have always thought plants as stupid now traders want to mimic a successful plant!!!

I am bit confused who is the smarter person here?
A successful plant or Trader who is trying to learn from plants!

So next time never scold a person for being 'dumb like a stupid tree', plants and trees have figured out things which even Nobel prize winners failed (Long Term Capital story).

:confused: Well, that is a bit obscure and strange, don't you think so? No idea about how such ideas come to your head and brain, but that is a bit out of normal.

You also can compare dogs, children, birds and traders to find out some thing to post here.:confused:

The point is not whether to have dog/plants/viruses in the story am pointing to the process of evolution working in trading. Seeing trading with evolutionary perspective opens up new view points. Fragility is one such concept.

Good luck with your thread. I am out of this thread and that has no meaning atoll. I am sure others will join to gain some thing out of your mentioned topic.

Take care / Dan :)

I eat vegetables , does this make me a cannibal?

omg what have i become..
That's what happens if we take ideas so literally :).

k... let me try to persuade you guys that am not posting a trivial post (like: 1 lakh into 25 trillion in 3 days).

* Mathematical Simulations are one way to understand complex environment without using werid mathematical formulas.
Monto-carlo simulations is one nice example and can be used to price options.

There is one more very important type of simulation:
evolutionary simulations. (You can google and see where it takes).
Evolutionary simulations are not copy righted to biology, evolution is every where.

Evolutionary simulations can help to understand the process of evolution and even discover brand new ideas. For eg. scientists use evolutionary simulations to design efficient air craft engines which human scientists never thought of.

languages evolve, cultures evolve, politics evolve, trading can't be an exception.

As a matter of fact, big hedge funds use evolutionary simulations to understand the nature of their strategies when left to fight with others and market conditions change.

A trolling topic such as '1 lac to 25 trillion' will attract 40 replies and a trolling topic started by professional troll girl such as 'I am challenging so called experts to post their targets' will attract 4000 replies and a thread lock down after hitting the upper circuit of troll meter.
Topics like this... I guess may strike a chord with half a dozen people... but that's okay.
Although I don't have great ambition or direction to make sense/educate/add value, am just posting a random thought and see how it evolves.
