Overall a very interesting thread though it should be more specific.
Sachin has said that 60min is for swing traders but is also watched by day traders. Oversold overbought does not have much meaning in day trading. I am surprosed that no one mentioned pivots. Many people use pivots but camouflage it by giving fancy technical explanations. TA is all about trends and what significance can a so called trend within a way when sometimes well establised trends do not sustain on long term charts. Statutory warning: Day trading is injurious to health. Experienced traders speak against it and there are smarties who do it with confidence and dexterity without any Technicals. |

sachin...first of all i want to thank u for that article..
secondly i m still testin my strategies regarding day trading...have been doing positional trading to start with wherein i usually exit within the same week... as i understand now that for a day trader 2 crucial things that matter when selectin a scrip is "large swings" and "liquidity" within the stock... i have been tryin to luk for such scrips...till now i have benifited from mtnl but i have observed large swings in ITI ..but still on the sidelines..guess i need more time to bet on such volatile movements... It would be great if u could advice scrips for day trading and specific strategies that u follow on them... thanks for the gud work.. cheers |

Hi Traderji,
I am very new to the market of Stocks. I have a question in my mind, if during any time of the day I "SHORT SELL" a scrip and then due to any reason I could not "BUY TO COVER" the same script, what could happen in this case. 1. Is there any penaly chaged by the brocker or the Exchange. 2. Is the person not allowed to day trade then. 3. What are the effects on the persons trading account with the brocker. Thanx zen |
