Hello
I know thats an odd sounding title for a thread. But as they say lifes stranger than fiction. When i wanted my account to be funded a bit more, I got this ultimatum from family. The reason put out to me was, to be successful as a trader, I need to have more dicipline in my personal life. Well I know its pure blackmail, but then again maybe some truth to it. We all know (by reading/hearing for newbies and by experience for experts) how important dicipline is for a trader. After I started mock trading there have been quite a bit of changes in my life style, not seen a movie for last 3 weeks , don't go out much, spend most of the time with this blasted PC ![]() I think the last straw was, when i proposed to skip my part of diwali shopping in return of some extra funding for my trading account. ![]() Anyway, back to the question at hand Will my joining the gym and a regular reigme of exercise help me become a better trader? Thanks nb |

i think that joining the gym and a regular regime of exercise will definitely help in taking your "health and fitness" to a "higher level". it will also increase the degree of discipline in your life. and because of this increase in your heath, fitness and discipline level, you are ought to become better in many aspects of your life "trading included". ![]() wish you all the best franktrader |

Thanks for your post, I agree with you when you put it this way. It would be interesting to know from successful traders on the forum, what trading sucess did to their health and other aspects of their life (will leave the money part out , for the time being). Thanks nb |
