i also love day trading, but the only problem is finding the right entry level and right exit also, i think one should wait till 11.p.m till the stocks settle down and find good stocks with right entry levels

Thumbs up Re: i love day trading

hai naveevia
see ur spread sheet.naveevia u r doing many trades/day.i use to trade one usually max two trade.do u take more than one position at a time.
on wht basic u exit the trade i mean profitables ones.

i think support and resistance levels r good for targets.i lost money whnever i tried to anticipated the market directon....insted its better to see the price movements and trade ..

on wht criteria u enter a trade...how u select the stocks for trading i mean any homework

Thnx ratn & Kurian for ur kind comments
I am 26 yrs old
Well my stretegy is like this
1. Find 100 most active stocks
2. Look for those which have become unusually active
3. Find trending one
4. enter with sl of 0.5%
5. For profit i trail my stoploss
The biggest problem is my stops get hit 9 out of 10 times
i know my psychological side is worst for a trader
But if i want to accomplish anything in life its this. to daytrade successfully
U ppl may laugh at this but my daily return target is 10% thats why i use such a high leverage
But yeah on the homework side i am nil
Thnx
Naveen

Just too vague to comment.
Define active, unusual, trending, good/worse psychology
There is just no method that can be rectified in the first place, the results/targets means zilch without a mechanism in the first place...just an exercise in randomness

Too vague again Naveen, think about it. For eg Higher Lower Tops/Bottoms on what time frame?

You cant solve a problem unless you know what the problem is. You are simply trading randomness.
