Total 6 trades, all loss. Net Loss for the session : -3.2R

No more trading in this session, closing, will resume on closing session.
Date : 23 May 2017 Trade SUmmary

No trades were done in closing session. So it was all what happened in morning session itself. all the trades taken were in loss.

Net 6 trades for the day
0 Profit
All loss
Net P/L for the day : -3.2R

AFter brokerage and commissions on yesterday and today, my net P/L became almost zero. Whatever made yesterday are lost today.

I checked many times for all the loosing trades today. But did not find any wrong from myside. ALl the trades were taken as per trading plans. SImillar setups had given successful trades on other days during testing. So just a bad day. Nothing can be done. Just need to move on for next trading session.

Trade I : VEDL SHORT

P/L in this trade : -0.15R

you are trying to do breakout trades on a very short time frame which is too risky as looking at yr charts there is already a substantial down move before you enter the trade. if u are able to trade where u make an early entry thn chances are success are better

Yes, I felt the same too. Looking at the series of loosing trades since yesterday I see this common pattern. So I need to get something for a selective trade location. Right now I am only getting the trades in the direction of visual trend. So I think if I can select the trades from better/suitable location, accuracy will increase.

Thank you for the advice. :thumb:

Hi LoneWolf,

I think you should get into the habit of adding costs to the "R". Else, we view the trades as better than they actually are.

So, R = R(old)+costs
Profit/Loss = P/L(old)-costs

Just a suggestion....

I like your trades, but as you shift to lower timeframes, the impact of costs become more significant.
Point noted.
