Novice want to become market analyst

Hi All,

I want to become a market analyst. Currently i am working as an IT Professional. I would like to pursue a job in finance field. So that i have a chance to study markets. So senior members Plz help me out with your suggestions I am ready to put my efforts because I love to work in this field. The thing which attracted me towards this is people emotions for markets. So i want to clarify the following doubts which i have
1. Apart from NSE certification exams what are the other exams which have higher value??(I heard that NSE certification wont add much weight age to my resume) like series 3...
2. If so Plz tell me the way to proceed and the firms which will consider these certifications.
