I am a middle aged trader having 3 year experience in trading equity and derivative and a self taught technical analyst(traderji.com was a tremendous help) having fair amount of success .presently I am stationed at Orissa (Bhubaneswar ).Intersted in taking up a job in a good broking company in Mumbai or Pune.I would love the exposure.

I am a qualified company secretary with basic degree in Science and have passed 3 module of NCFM.(capital market,derivative and mutual fund ).

If anybody can help I will be greatful.

HI All,

I do have 6 Years of Experience as a Technical Analyst. I am planning to write CMT next year. I know one should need enough knowledge in Technical Analysis in order to complete all the three leels. Now my question is what is the recognition given to a CMT certificate Holder in India. and what will be the recognition of CMT level 1 Holder in India.

Little recognition, perhaps the only thing I liked was that you get a good platform to network with other professionals.
IMO anyone with little experience in TA can clear Level 1 with 12 hours of reading; it's pretty easy to hold any recognition.

I need some drilled down information about the career progression one can have in Financial markets...
