Default Successful Research modal - Need your help

SHORT TERM RESEARCH (up to 5-10 days holding period):
===========================================
We have been working on a research for a period of around a year with different permutation and combinations. We have had some success and have been able to
Zero-in on a specific modal that works. We have processed this data with more than 2,00,000+ permutation combinations and have produced a system that can
generate up to 8 modals for different Indexes.

We have tested this research since 1994 for NSE stocks. The % range returns varies as per the index, which is as below:

Nifty : 30% - 40% P.a.
MIDCAP : 40% - 50% P.a.
S/P CNX 500 : 50% - 70% p.a. (Less volatile - more stable returns)
All indexes - other than SMALL CAP : 50% - 80% p.a.
SMALL CAP MODAL : 100% + returns

Some advantages of our research are as follows:
-----------------------------------------------
1. The modal is based on a world known phenomenon. We have researched exact entry and exit points for stocks.

2. Our research generates entry positions in 2 blocks. 1st - 15th of a month and 16- 31st of the month. This way a trader will be able to plan allocation of
his capital to the stock market well in advance (before the start of the trading sessions).

3. This modal can generate short positions too. For trading in option or futures.

4. Our modal can be tweaked to match individual trading needs. People with "high risk - high rewards" appetite can generate entry points to meet their
needs.

We need help to identify the below:
-----------------------------------
1. What do you think should be the strategy: 1a. To sell this research or 1b. To start trading on this basis.

1A. If we sell this research, whoever buys it can research world markets and sell the modal around the world.

1B. If we start trading, we need to have that much amount of capital to invest and generate returns. since we are from IT and our strengths match in doing research, we are of the opinion to sell our research.

If you have a trading system that works, better to raise some capital and trade rather than sell it.
I presume there is no actual trading done. This would make buyers circumspect about trading costs, slippage etc. Even if they are convinced, they would most likely lowball you on the offer.
Better to sell a stake to a strategic investor, and use the capital to trade. If the system works as planned, you can later sell the software for a great price. Buyers would then have actual trading results to look at, and that would give you a better bargaining chip.
Just my two bits.

What about selling it( after patenting) for a 6 mnth(say) royalty and also trading on its basis alongwith, so that it gives you comfortable money over a long period.

Per replies, it looks like normally people will be more interested in research output, so that it works and we can measure output of the success we have with our calls.

We can start giving output of the research in terms of actionable buys & sells . This can help people who come with less experience and are emotional traders. Thereby on an average generating profits in Bear and bull markets. Since, our research & phenomenon has been tested for different types of markets since 1995.

Please make sure that you'll monitor it for a while and then take positions. We have been actually trading with our calls for a while now. You'll can start doing the same.

Hello Manoj,

Instead of asking around, just think about this did Warren Buffet or Peter Lynch sell their systems or traded them?

As u r from IT, think what Bill Gates would do?

Also consider power of compounding. Just put the growth figures you have claimed into an excel sheet and see where you will be after 5 -10 yrs.

My simple calculations tell me if 4/5 of you pool together 1 lac each, you will be worth more than 25 Crs in 10 yrs time, simplly by using the system you have developed.

Or maybe you aspire for more...

Best of luck for your enterprise.

Regards
Sanjay

Hi Sanjay,

Thought about it. We are clear that we want to go ahead with creating our company and trading with the research. Rather than just selling it.

Post your Bill Gates / Warren Buffet / Peter Lynch example, i also remembered person who made photo copier and gave it off to someone who later made XEROX. endless examples...

Thank you for your suggestion.

For Others,
As I said earlier, I'll share the output of the research for the purpose of giving directions to people starting in the market and loosing because of "Emotional Trading". That will take some time. Please bear with the delay.

we are in the stage of polishing our results...

will come back soon.

Dear Manoj

It is most heartening to know that you have decided to implement your ideas.

Once you succeed, many people would willingly associate with you on your terms and conditions.

Maybe there will be many obstacles and hurdles on the path you have chosen, but the fact that you have chosen to live your dreams will give you a most fulfilling life.

Best wishes for your success.

Warm regards
Sanjay
