Hi everybody how to calculate the investment in derivatives.

kindly let me know that how we should calculate the investment in derivative market.
For example if i am buying derivative stocks of MCD i.e, 125 size per lot at a price of 2850*125= 356250 is the investment so how i want to know what would be the investment in derivatives of the same stock.

kindly also share your experiences on the same.:clapping::clapping:

Derivative position is not an investement. It is a trade. The margin required varies from stock to stock but it will be approx. 15-20 % of 356250.

thanks for the information i had doubts as i am a beginner to trading the information is helpful to me and is it aplicable for all the stocks right 15-20%.
in derivative trade and also share some knowledge on derivative trade.
