Indicator that helps in trying to identify breakout

Guyz...just wanted to know if there is any techncial indocator that can help to identify which side a stock will break out aftr periods of consolidation...just as an example u can see ABB which break up yesttdy aftr periods of flat movemnt or consolidation.

I am not asking for any magical future prediction, but just any inficator which i can read and research can help even a slighty

Most indicators can work although their parameters should be adjusted for the time frame and security used. You should experiment with a variety to see how they trade and which ones you feel comfortable with. However, always use multiple indicators together for signals as opposed to using only one and the different indictors should be from different indicator categories such as momentum, moving average, trend, volatility, etc.
