Hi All,

I am a Software Tester by profession. Earlier I was into Software Development.

I have learnt TA and sometime back and trading since a year.

I trade in delivery based equities market and the period that I hold varies from a week to more than 6 months.

I am yet to discover what kind of trader I am since I use a mix of lot of trading systems. I like to create my portfolio that has momentum stocks as well as multi baggers.

My system includes oscillators / indicators and there is a lot of interpretation involved. In other words, my system is not fully mechanical but I plan to make one.

I also want to improve my money management techniques and get more disciplined.

My next milestone is F n O market.

Day Trading fascinates me, but I cannot spare time during the trading hours.

That was all about me

Regards,
a$h.investor

Hi,

I started trading 8-9 months back.I am a Software Test Engineer.I usually do swing trading. If time permits then I try day-trading.Initially I started trading with tips from Angel Broking .I gained few bucks but also lost whtever I gained. You can call me lucky guy.As for last few days I recovered my lost money from stocks like Techm.I daily read Traderj articles and watch CNBC-TV 18.

Swing trade.

TA + charts = best tools for swing.
Ofcourse knowledge (fundamental/political/social/economic etc) also matter.

Stop Loss is your best friend in uncertainity.

i am a full time trader trading options. if my health permits i day trade options, else i use strategies for the month. i do it cause i understand options well and it suits my personality. i have my own system on paper and peter hoadley. will soon implement on a server. i have now tried to trade other methods also, but just scratching the surface....when in doubt, i square off my positions and always go back to my option trades. Follow only LBR, Tom Demark and Joe Ross. thoug i love to read about all systems and tinker with them. profound influence on me by alex elder, marty schwartz and jesse livermore. regret that in india we dont get option data like in the US with stuff like Tymora Pro.

ur comments and suggestions are welcome.

Sure you do mate, try Quotecenter or Esignal (untested)
QC has a nice Optionwatch and very useful. You can also exchange data b/w Excel and QC which makes for some really good realtime templates

Hope that helps

I am a full time trader.
I day trade SPI and Nikkei index futures using 3 min chart.
Not so successful! Many trades made but not enough profits over a year's trading.
