Hi Meenakshee,

Yes Anyone can get a job as a freelance as market advisor. I have freinds who are working for a few companies telling them where to invest there surplus funds and are doing a good job with it. U can also get a job with many brokerage houses like religare that also give recommendations based on TA. Procedure is to Apply to those companies and yes have a good working knowledge of TA. Just reading through or attending a small course does not suffice. Then it would be better to join a company and work under someone for sometime so u would have better idea of trading using TA. In addition to TA, knowledge of risk managment and money mgmt is very imp. No License is required or education from any university is required-atleast in India.

It's a CFA course which is widely accepted but with due regard to all the ICFAI alumani, I want to say that if any body wants to become a CFA, he should go for CFA from CFA Institute, USA (Earlier known as AIMR) as it has International Recognition.

Further, ICFAI and CFA institute are in litigation over the use of trademark CFA by ICFAI and hence caution is called for while taking admission in ICFAI.
