If,nifty 5300-4700 then stocks?

Hi dear members ,im in great confusion , please tell me your opinions, i entered stock market a year ago ,im not having nifty correcting to down trend im asking this . some saying that ,nifty is trading near 2 yrs high , say some 300 points may in due (!), its going to be corrected in feb . then if correction happens by gradually nifty going down to say 5300 - 4700 what will happen to my shares holding, i have to sell all my shares before correction? who will buy in that downtrend?longtime existing members , (time when nifty crashed) - experienced members please tell me your opions how will the stocks react?.thanks.
