As a trend trader, I generally seek to find stocks in well-established trends. However, I've learned that it often pays to catch a trend early.
Sometimes these new trends begin with an obvious "bang." Other times though, the new trend emerges with a more gradual change (i.e. distribution) and then accelerates in the new direction.
