Since you are new to trading, I'd suggest you to read "Teach a Man to fish..." by Saint. It's a very good collections of trading concepts by our greatly enlightened guru, Saint.
The articles speak of the basic fundamentals of trading and will surely help you in building concepts.

Here's the link for the compiled PDF version of the articles by Saint:
http://www.traderji.com/138424-post1017.html
And, here's the link for the thread:
http://www.traderji.com/trading-tech...-man-fish.html

{ By the way, there is no difference in parameters used in day trading and swing trading. It's all the same, just the timeframes are different. }
Cheers

The last time I checked, the expert was downloaded around 50 times.
I would really appreciate any comments on it (Good or Bad). It would help me to gain some knowledge and develop a better system.

Thank You

I feel daytrading is best in volatile times like current crash. Swing trading and pos trading is best in good trending(up/down) times.

I am keen to checkout your system. But unfortunately I do not use Metastock anymore. Maybe you can just describe your sysem in brief and we Ami users too can check it out.

Yes, a description of the system would help users of AmiBroker or other software understand and try on those software. It would help us to code the strategy in our software and copmpare and share the code and rersults.

Unfortnutely I have limited knowledge of Elliot waves. We have experts like Amitt in our forum. Let us request him to start a thread on EW for starters. Hope he will oblige.
