I am trying to use Mabiuts with FT and testing with simulations however I am not getting the results one would expect;
Out of 23 trades only 8-9 winning trades;

I also downloaded Mabiuts template from Traderji forum (one of the Soumya sir's post)however not getting good results;

Can you please check (if you can, I know Karthik sir do not use FT) if / what is wrong or give me some directions / pointers.

Thanks,
Skillz
Dont expect any result from experimentation which is groundless, try investopedia if you need seen some basic TA stuff in life so far

yes i have no clue and to learn waste time and bandwidth rather than refering some work which was already done well and contributed @ investopedia

I just see smoke at moment and you can hear explosion later when account burst on margin calls

Also my Friend if there is no quality there will be no quantity either...
If offer some thing for free, quantity is always exist there irrespective of their quality and i call quality if i see +ve equity curve and not based on 1000 or millions of downloads

And you justify quantity to quality??

Dear Amarnath,
Certainly newbies are benfiting from Karthik posts including me. There may be many places from where you can learn like investopedia etc. That also started somewhere. I am sure investopedia is not the first source for TA. Hence don't pass -ve comments.
Dear Karthik,
You are doing nice job for newbies. even people like Saint has appreciated much. Please carry on your good work. Don't spend your energies in answering -ve posts. Even Person like Saint had his bit of distracting person once. Now that person is no where.

Benefits may i know which you are pointing out specifically??? dead loads of experimentation to reinvent wheel?? Benefit i can call only a real thing which in final case leads to true knowledge and profitable trading on own and i never learned personally from any cheap webstuff as you think and nor from any books but from purely from market and self experimentation .
And i dont understand whats so special about his experimentation stuff which i feel essentially going in wrong direction of experimentation which is not going to lead a newbie no were at end

Finally i am talking in negative in sweating behalf of same positive intention like Mr.Karthik has to guide newbies, were he is trying with some stuff he does and i does by pointing way of non progressive direction its going on

At moment i dont need any personal experimentation to develop further systems and i optimize current one according to my need and do you expect me to disclose my positive edge for free?? i personally belive even you at some point dont disclose such a thing for experimentation you can do any thing as you wish as end users are newbies they dont blame latter for their losses even if experiment fails

I will sure posting accordingly when i see its going in right direction and when some real help required and i dont have time for silly experimentation's and to pan fry penny traders for own testing

My only advice to you is try to travel in right direction than attacking me

Hello everyone,

i have been observing this long cold war between Amarnath Vs karthik.

Hey, Amar, Karthik is doining a good job! He never claimed that he is teaching his Secret methods or Holy grail to othe members. His aim is to initiate fire of T.A. among us. Through his posts, one would be inspired to research on own with depth.

He provides a basic platform to all new members and others. And you see karthik from wrong view and that's why you contradict him.
Change your view and u will surely appreciate his efforts for inspiring others towards T.A.
And after all, after years of hard work , with so much capital used, few find very good methods to trade. It would be very hard to be that LARGE-HEARTED to disclose them free of cost.

This thread is i beleive for inspiration and experimentation which could lead to an accidental discovery!

I am not negating any one of u , just change ur view points, rest all will be clear.

Take care,
Winston

Winston, you've summed it up quite well.

I may just add that nothing is of any use if used the wrong way while everything is of some use if used the right way.

Amen (& no more useless squabbles please).

Regards,
Kalyan.
