I never called it as MACD but digital MACD and no were i think in this thread i said MA = Moving average
There goes the Andrew's Pitchfork - right through me

Sure Mr Amarnath, your views are most welcome.

Kalyan.

P.S. Without diverging views, a thread becomes pretty much a sermon.

As far as DF/DSP is concerned one can also look at Ehler's Instantaneous Trendlines (in fact he has a bagful of them)

At least it's a query on a good stock. But not here please, there are plenty of threads in the Equities section where you'll get an answer. (Be more specific about your time horizon etc.)

Kalyan.

Hello KarthikSir / SoumyaSir;

I am new to TA and have recently started experimenting with Fibotrader;I have been reading your posts and learning a wealth of information. It's really amazing.

I am trying to use Mabiuts with FT and testing with simulations however I am not getting the results one would expect;
Out of 23 trades only 8-9 winning trades;

I also downloaded Mabiuts template from Traderji forum (one of the Soumya sir's post)however not getting good results;

Can you please check (if you can, I know Karthik sir do not use FT) if / what is wrong or give me some directions / pointers.

Thanks,
Skillz

Dear Amarnath

This one post is enough to justify the 1000 posts...

Karthik

Instead of refering a single url investopedia i feel you are wasting 180 pages of discussion for MACD and to show you are something so special than newbies here?? and if your MACD have 3000 downloads in which you see only one newbie to make your justification for 1000 post and let me see where this scarficial experimentation end in

And Mr.Karthik i thought you are focusing on quality but at end its seems your are looking more just at quantity of download and no of post you contributed like a average broker who counts for his comission

And at moment i dont need any TIPSTERS so even if you start one i cant subscribe for it sorry, as its just now you started to explore MACD i cant risk my funds based it
And you never justified why you looked at quantity than quality of contribution :P
