which is best technical software

hi,I am looking for one good technical software,can any one please advise me on this. thanks in anticipation

MetaTrader is easy to use but hard to find for Indian market.
Amibroker is more popular but needs realtime data, somehow you can get this.

Hi, I am using Metastock EOD for the last 4 years. Its a bit costly with software and Data.

Advantages:
a) If you are a good programmer, you can build and test good set of indexes and build your own trading system.
b) Easy to use and good interface, good support - online chat in USA timings

Disadvantages : It is costly. The data from Reuters is also costly. I have not faced any problems till now.

There are lot of addons available, but all of them are very costly. You can buy, Try and take complete refund in 30 days, if you dont like.

I have not used any other software.

Amibroker is good for both EOD and intraday, many sites providing intraday data for amibroker...

Is anyone using Falcon??

i am using spider end of day and charges are 6600/- per year

for the real time they charge around 45000.00
this includes software and data feed

their back up support is good but the disadvantage is that it is not popular of traderji .

it works like a closed system and is quiet easy to use ,

I've been using Amibroker for the last three years and its good both for EOD and Intraday. There are many free tools for getting EOD data and paid services for Intraday.
